Earlier this year, our in-house golf professional Alex visited Honma Japan.
He spent some time training under Honma’s master fitter, Tomoya-San, at the Honma Kanda outlet, as well as going through Honma’s Beres and Tour World product lines.
The visit also included a tour to Honma’s Sakata factory where each club is built and assembled by expert craftsmen.
Along with the production facility, Alex also visited the testing facility, where clubs are hit by a machine.
In his words, “It was an amazing experience to see these master artisans at work. There is tremendous detail and skill at each stage of production and it culminates in a beautifully finished product.”
